Newsletter signups
When you subscribe, we save your email address, the date you signed up, and your agreement to receive the Highlander newsletter. Publication administrators can access this list to manage subscriptions and prepare newsletter mailings.
Signing up does not create a reader account. We do not display subscriber addresses publicly or sell them. Newsletter mailings will include an unsubscribe link. Following that link and confirming removes your address from the website’s signup list.
Website and staff access
Staff sign-in uses a session cookie so editors can manage reports. This site does not currently include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Hosting services may process basic request information for reliability and abuse prevention. Newsletter requests use a temporary, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions.

Links to social profiles, photo sources, and Highlander Trading Cards take you to separate websites with their own privacy practices.
